Thank you for supporting our efforts to encourage positive behavior at Solorio. Please take a moment to review our April PBIS Family Connection post and discuss with your child.

This Monday we kick off state testing for our 3rd-5th grade students. State testing is the way public schools show how students are performing academically. Please chat with your child about the importance of trying his or her best on the test. We can't wait for students to show what they know!

State testing begins this Monday, April 15, and will continue through Friday, May 3, for 3rd-5th grades!

We have an exciting author event coming up that is fun-filled and supports our school libraries. On Friday, April 19, 2024 Bess Kalb will be present at our Buffalo Fluffalo Author Event at Barnes & Noble in Rancho Cucamonga from 5:30-7:30 PM. There will be fun activity stations, puzzles, and drawings. A percentage of in-store sales from this event will benefit our school libraries. Throughout ten sessions, students learned the basics of coding and created amazing projects. Their peers selected the winners! To celebrate, they had pizza with the principal. Congratulations to the Solorio 2024 Coding Class Dance Party Project Winners!

To gear up for the upcoming CAASPP testing, which begins April 15th, next week is our Slam Dunk State Testing Inspiration Week. Join us NEXT WEEK in dominating the test, and get ready to roar Tigers!

Congratulations to our February Attendance Winners! Shout out to Mrs. Juarez's Kindergarten class for being on a 4-month winning streak. Our school-wide goal is a 97% attendance rate. Keep it up Tigers!

Materials will be on display at every school site and the district office for the public to view until March 7, 2023. We encourage our educational partners to preview the material and submit feedback.

In the library, students read the emotional book Snowflakes Fall. The book is a celebration of life and a tribute to the qualities that make each individual unique. Thank you, Ms. Yerkish and Mrs. Houtz!
