  • qSchool Improvement Goals (Data discussed on 10/28/20) Reviewed via PowerPoint Presentation. Dr. Pilgren shared that Solorio’s goals align with LCAP goals. There are four goals:

  • Condition of Learning- educators are provided with professional development opportunities, material, and staff support.
  • Pupil Outcome- at-risk students provided with additional programs and services
  • Parent Engagement- family social events and parent education opportunities
  • Student Engagement- positive school environment to promote personal and academic growth.


No questions were asked. All in attendance approved. Once signatures are obtained electronically, SPSA will be submitted to the School Board of Trustees.

Mr. Brito asked about the status of the school reopening waiver application. Waiver was denied due to the current COVID-19 case rates in our community but will be resubmitted when case rates are reduced.

**Bylaws concerning public comment: All meetings of the school site council and of committees established by the school site council shall be open to the public.  Notice of such meetings shall be provided in accordance with Section C of this article.  Public input may occur on any item on the current agenda, with prior notification to the chair, not to exceed three (3) minutes per speaker.

Members of the public and members of the school site council may request that a matter within the jurisdiction of the school site council be placed on the agenda of a future meeting.  The request must be in writing and submitted to the chairperson and the Principal with supporting documents and information, if any, at least ten (10) days before the scheduled meeting date.  Items received less than ten (10) days prior to the meeting shall be postponed until the following meeting.
